Washing List

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND NOTE DETAILS RELEVANT TO YOUR COSTUME. I WILL E-MAIL IT NEXT WEEK AS A REMINDER!

All costumes to be returned clean and on coat hangers on Sunday 5th April between 9.30am and 12 noon to CYGAMS unless otherwise stated. If you are unable to return them yourself you MUST ask someone else to do it for you or telephone me 01268 757964 / 07719 569722 beforehand to make alternative arrangements.

Aurora - to return all tutus without washing on agreed date. Headdresses / arm frills to be returned after last performance

Prince - to return complete costumes after last performance

King/ Catalabutte - to return hired costumes to hirer please

Guest dancers - complete costumes to be returned after last performance please

IF YOU HAVE BORROWED ANYTHING FROM ANOTHER MEMBER OF THE COMPANY PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU RETURN IT TO THEM AFTER THE LAST PERFORMANCE.

 

PROLOGUE

Queen - to return dresses as discussed. Headdresses to be returned after last performance

Nurse - wash complete costume

Page - wash tunic, return hat after last performance

Trumpeters / flag bearers - return complete costume after last performance

Courtiers - guest dancers to return complete costume after last performance
Company members - wash dresses / overskirts. Return headdresses / gloves/ cuffs / hats after last performance

Fairies - do not wash tutus. Unpick wings and return with tutu. Return headdresses / arm frills after last performance.

Fairy attendants - do not wash dresses. Unpick wings and return with dresses. Wash green knickers. Return headdresses after last performance

Carabosse - wash dress and cloak. Return headdress after last performance

Demons - return complete costume after last performance

Bats - return complete costume after last performance

 

ACT I

Princes - return complete costume after last performance

Friends - remove white frill from dress and wash separately. Wash dress bodice only, keep net dry. Wash pink knickers. Return headdress after last performance.

Pipers - wash tunics. Return hats / belts after last performance

Garland Waltz - change of plan! Remove flower trim prior to washing. Wash bodice of dress, keep net dry. Wash cotton top of petticoat, keep net dry.
Return headdresses after last performance

Lilac fairy attendants - guests - return complete costume after last performance

 

ACT II

Duchess - handwash dress. Return hat / gloves after last performance.

Servants - wash dress. Wash cotton tops of petticoats, keep net dry. Bonnets to be returned after last performance.

Nymphs - handwash dresses carefully. Cool iron skirts and back of bodice. Headdresses to be returned after last performance.

 

ACT III

Jewel fairies and Princess Florine  - do not wash tutus. Return headdresses after last performance.

Bluebird - as discussed

White Cat - do not wash tutu. Return gloves, wrist frills, choker and ears after last performance.

Puss in Boots - return complete costume after last performance

Red riding Hood - handwash dress. Do not wash cape.

Wolf - handwash complete costume. Return mask / gloves / hat after last performance

Polonaise - handwash jackets. Carefully wash and iron skirts. Wash cotton top of petticoat, keep net dry. Hats to be returned after last performance.
